Unity of Richmond Board Members serve two-year terms and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms.  Your Board is committed to the ongoing spiritual health, cohesiveness, growth and prosperity of this community. 

Fred has been a member at Unity of Richmond for 18 years, and served as Board President from 1996 - 2000. Fred has served our community as the Youth of Unity Coordinator and has been a tireless Team Leader with the Youth & Family Celebration Team. He considers Unity’s positive message, embracing all religions, creeds and sexual orientations to be the greatest strengths of our Spiritual Community. He further shares that Unity has allowed him to grow spiritually, in life, church and his professional career as a Pharmacist. Fred identifies his personal goals for Unity of Richmond, “To allow the church to follow its journey, making Unity of Richmond the best it can be.” We welcome Fred back to the Board and thank him for his patient, loving, heartfelt service to this community! Edy Bouldin’s Spiritual Home has been Unity of Richmond for 3 years where she has participated in a wide range of classes and activities. In addition to her role on the Board, she currently volunteers at Unity as teacher in the Children’s Celebration Center and is a member of Women of Unity. Edy brings a wealth of skills and wisdom from her role in Deposit Operations at a large financial institution. She has over 25 years experience in banking operations. Edy serves Board Advisor to the CommUNITY Outreach Team, and she is the Champion for getting our bookstore online through Amazon.com. Robin has been a member of Unity since 1981. She has contributed her time and talents in New York as a Youth Education Teacher, Youth Education Director and as a board member at Unity of Montclair, New Jersey. Since joining Unity of Richmond, she has been active as a YOU sponsor, Assistant Director of Youth Education, regional Consultant for YOU, and as a Prayer Chaplain. She also served on the Minister Search Committee which resulted in the appointment of our current ministers. As a board member, she plans to utilize her diverse Unity experience for the continued growth and success of Unity of Richmond. She envisions Unity of Richmond becoming an active center that offers opportunities for education, spiritual growth and diverse programming for the community. Her objective is to assist in the development of programs that support spiritual growth for our congregants and offer loving suport to the people of Richmond.

Steve Hall's professional background is a Home Repair Contractor. He has been a member of Unity of Richmond for 12 years. During his 12 years he has attended classes since 1996, served as a Prayer Chaplain, Youth Sponsor, Platform Assistant and Drama Team Member. Steve's vision: "I woul like to see every aspect of Unity of Richmond move advance with more individual innnovation. Steve's mission statement: "I would like to serve on the Board of Trustees and give back to this spiritual community which has given me so much. As I see our church growing in so many diffferent ways, I would like to be more involved in that growth. I have no specific agenda to bring to the board nor any plans that I wish to accomplish at this time. My desire is simply to be more involved as the church grows and prospers and be open to Spirit's guidance."

Chris became an active member of Unity of Richmond 5 years ago. Since that time her vision has grown tremendously. She brought 20 years of expertise as a successful business woman as co-owner of Rich's Stitches, Inc. As a church member, she began to understand how spiritual principles could strengthen and support her business, her life and the life of others around her. As she began to get involved and participate within the life of the church community, she began to take and apply the Four T Prosperity principles. She took other SEE classes, became a Unity Prayer Chaplain, a youth teacher in the Children's Celebration Center and supported the ministry with marketing ideas. As she participated more, she grew in Spirit. She continued to be blessed by the Unity way of life as she applied Unity principles to all aspects of her life. As a member of the Board of Trustees she desires to continue her spiritual growth and envisions the continuing growth of Spirit in our congregation and congregants. Her goal is to help lift the Jesus Christ consciousness as we move our church forward on its divine path to fulfill our divine mission.

Lisa Roarty's professional background: 30 years of Special Education Experience. Lisa and her husband Ed. have been members of Unity of Richmond for 14 years. Lisa has been active as a Greeter/Usher, a Youth Teacher Trainer and a Hospitality Committee member. Lisa's Vision: "I see two paths for our church. One is to tap into and encourage the unlimited resources and talents of each person. The second path is to develop ways to share Unity's message with the greater Richmond area by participating in community partnering." Lisa's Statement: "For years, Unity has provided me with a spiritual haven. It has become my second home where I've felt myself grow spiritually. I tithe and have continued to be a faithful congregant through the years. With an upcoming retirement this summer, I now feel the importance of giving back to my church community. I have the energy, professional experiences and time to take a more active role as our church grows, and I would love to be a part of this evolutionary process. I would also like to see total engagement by the congregation to use the wealth of resouces (time, talents, tithes) in our church, as well as, share Unity's message in the community.

Revs. Bunch were ordained in 2006 and have brought an incredible energy, enthusiasm and spirit to Unity of Richmond. Richard served as Spiritual Leader of Unity El Paso from 1999 to 2004 with his wife and partner in ministry, Rev. Victoria W. Bunch. Originally from Tidewater, VA., Richard and Vicki have four children and six grandchildren. They are both enjoying the process of remodeling their “new” 1944 home.
